In contemplation
Who am I?
This is one of the great existential questions. Mystics and philosophers have struggled with it for centuries. Let us contemplate some of their teachings.
Day 47
Live each moment with peace of heart. That is your purpose. You are not a slave to the me of the body. See beyond its perceptions of pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow. Be embraced by the whole of the all.
Do you know the way? Leave no room for doubt. Not all is true. Not all is false. The mind can be deceptive. Find your way from within. Herein lies the path. Your true nature can guide you.
Your progress in the world comes from ignorance. You perceive yourself as being here while striving to be there. The me of the body cannot see the natural way. Remove the veils. Let darkness dissolve in the light of wisdom. Let wisdom reveal your path.
Your worldly existence is of the mind. Your past is memory. Your future is imagination. The present is what you think it is. You are the moment in which you exist.
Do you see existence as fractured or whole? To look from the outside is to break existence into parts and pieces. To see from within is to know the whole of the all. The whole of the all is consciousness in existence. It has no parts or pieces. It is whole, complete, perfect.
You are the whole of the all. You are not the me of the body with its fractured existence. You are the energy of existence within consciousness. Your vibration pulsates through the body as life. You are the expressing that is the dance of your being in the world. When the form is gone, the energy lives on.
