Hanging with Hafiz
Words come easily. Practice is hard. Suffering through pleasure and pain, happiness and sorrow seems to be a natural state. It is the nature of the me of the body. It is not your true nature. You play your own song. No one else writes the music for you. You compose your own life from what you have at hand. Add joy to your repertoire. Reach deep within and release joy as your guide. Joy is your true nature. Joy is your natural state, not suffering. As Blaze Foley notes, “Change the words to (your) song and start singing again.” Fear keeps you from changing your tune. Fear is the easiest way out. But you are not alone. Whatever you hope for is happening somewhere. Accept all for what it is. Love more. Fear less. Let good come to you. It seeks an open heart. All were born from the same womb of consciousness. Sing your song in harmony with the whole of the all. You may feel mismatched, but you are up to the job. You are your song to sing.
