For want of discussion, consciousness can be distinguished as pure love in contrast to love tainted by fear in existence.
To seek love in the world is to choose between two illusions. These are love and fear. Love in the world is part and parcel with your perception of separation. It is tainted by fear. You want to overcome the separation, or fear, by joining with others. These others become important to you. You attach to them. At the same time, there are others whom you fear. In a sense, you form attachments here as well. Having attachments with those you love and those you fear makes for suffering. To overcome suffering, do not form attachments. Find peace of heart within. Such peace is your salvation. With peace of heart, salvation from suffering springs eternal.
Love is needed in the illusion of separation but not in truth. Separation brings about oneness and duality. Separation spawns fear of lack. Fear in separation needs love to offset it. In truth you are free of fear and love. You are whole, complete, perfect, eternal as is. There is no fear, so love is not required. There is no separation, so oneness is out the door. Love is not found in others but in your own peace of heart. There are no others in truth.
The perception of separation seeks love to overcome fear like the awareness of hunger seeks food to overcome starvation.
You bring oneness into the illusion to offset separation. You bring love into the illusion to offset fear. Oneness and love go together like separation and fear. Separation brings about fear. Oneness requires love.
