Reality is oneness only because you know separation. In reality there is no oneness. There are no distinctions. Reality is totality. There is no this or that. No outside or inside. No here or there. No you or me. No them or us. Totality is consciousness. Such descriptions and names are not real. They have no basis except in separation. It is like describing a multi-dimensional world from within a one-dimensional existence. It cannot be done. There are no words to convey unknowns. Yet you try. Totality cannot be known in separation. It is called oneness.
Give thought to joy always. It is your true nature. Move toward simplicity. Hold peace of heart. Existence can be ugly and depressing. Do not dwell here. The world seems always at war, neighbor with neighbor, nation with nation. Anger and violence are not reality. These are the outcomes of fear bred by perceptions of separation. See your neighbor as yourself. Remove borders between nations. Live in harmony with all. This is the way of the path.
Jesus was a sage executed for sedition. Born in Nazareth, a village not on any maps, he grew in wisdom, lived simply, developed a following, and became a threat to Roman and Temple authority. He was crucified by the Romans for inciting rebellion.
Do not fight. Do not break from the flow of the river. Do not be clever. Avoid conflict. Desire less. Expect little. Act quietly, away from where you can be seen. Do, then tell no one. Pull in your oars. Let the boat float as it may. This is the way of the path. This is the way of remembering twia.
The sea is consciousness. The unending, never beginning ocean of intelligence and awareness. This sea with no shape, no center, no size, no shores, no form is totality. There is no other, only the water. This is consciousness, the mother of the whole of the all.
Through this sea runs a current, a river of thought that is existence. Your life flows in the river as the me of the body. You are discrete awareness in an ocean of awareness. Like a molecule of water you are awareness. This is the I AM. That which I am, twia, is discrete awareness in consciousness. I am witness to existence. I am not the existence that is the me of the body. To live as the me of the body is to alter the flow of the river. To live as twia is to remain the river with uninterrupted flow. To do nothing is to flow with the river.
To do nothing is to stop doing. To become mindful of the moment. To release desire, expectation, attachment. Accept the moment for what it is. Give it space to flow. Do not divert the river to your will. Lie low in the valley. The river nourishes the ground of goodness. Let things come to their own fruition. Sit in the still silence of the room within. Do not rush to get things done. Be the witness not the doer. Act in the moment. Release the outcome. Do and expect nothing. By not doing, all is done.
Some temples have a thousand steps to climb to reach the gods. Some pilgrims walk a thousand miles to find peace. Hafiz, when called to go on a pilgrimage, sat still for three days. Jesus sat in silence with the Father when he prayed. The Buddha meditated under the bodhi tree. At all times, seek silence. Be at peace in the silence. Find gratitude in silence. Silence is the way of the heart. Silence grows deeper and deeper on the way of the path. Sit in the still silence of the room within. Jesus said that herein lies the kingdom. The Buddha found his way in the bliss of the room within as he sat under the bodhi tree. Lao Tzu advises to live simply in silence of the Tao. To hold peace always is to do so from the silent source of the eternal within. To know this is to live in unity with all. To practice this is the acceptance of all things.
Consciousness is emptiness that is nowhere. It has no separations. It cannot be described, compared, or measured. These are activities of separation. Consciousness is empty. It cannot be filled. Consciousness is empty. It holds all possibility. Consciousness is the eternal field of infinite possibility. Consciousness is reality. Separation is a thought, a possibility, that cannot be real. Separation is illusion. You know separation as your own existence being the me of the body within your world of separate forms/objects in a universe of spacetime. Existence can only be imagined in consciousness. It has no reality. Consciousness expressing the thought of separation is existence.
The mind is emptiness. It holds nothingness. It is the gateway to consciousness. An empty mind receives knowledge. Do nothing. Let it be. Release learning. You are shaped from within. Have no expectations or desire an outcome. Do not limit possibility by your own thoughts. The enlightened mind holds nothing of its own. Let the mind become the path. To walk the way of the path is to remember twia. Hold twia in mind always. This is to know. To know is to do nothing.
At the beginning of existence is the I AM. The I AM is consciousness-expressing what cannot be real. Reality has no beginning, ending, or separations. I AM is movement. Like dancing is movement. Dancing is the expressing of dance. I AM is the expressing of existence. Being is known by expressing. Dance is known by dancing. To do nothing is to actively express being. Dancer does nothing. Dancer is known by dancing. To do nothing is to actively express twia. Let twia flow naturally. Do not block the way by doing. You do not know. Twia knows. Tell no one of these things.
Totality “of itself is so.” This is the teaching of the ages. There is no beginning or end. This is the eternal. Consciousness is the intelligence and awareness that is totality. Consciousness-expressing is intelligence in motion. This is awareness. Awareness is intelligence moving or consciousness-expressing. I AM is consciousness-expressing itself eternally. You are the I AM. This is twia, that which I AM. There is no other. Tell no one. It cannot be said.
